Step Inside The Luxurious Snow Lodge Suite at the St. Regis Aspen Resort

The Snow Lodge is far more than a mere winter haven; it has come to represent a certain refined lifestyle and cultured leisure. Cardoso, born in Brazil and the creative mind behind Montauk’s famed Surf Lodge, reimagined the blending of luxury with a cultural experience. Within the sought-after St. Regis Aspen Resort, the Snow Lodge offers a potent mix of elevated après-ski opportunities interspersed with fine dining, exclusive members’ spaces, and world-class entertainment. Cut to the unveiling of the long-awaited Snow Lodge Suite, with immersive luxury taken to the next level.

Designed by Antonio Di Oronzo of Bluarch, the Snow Lodge Suite is not just an addition to the resort; it embodies artistry, craftsmanship, and modern elegance. Every detail, from the art that has been painstakingly selected to all the Italian furnishings made to have worked with impeccable design sense, showcase a lifestyle that embraces comfort and the excellence of creativity.

Entering the Snow Lodge Suite is to enter 2,350 feet of extraordinarily beautiful realm pervaded by the joining of art and architecture. Cardoso and Di Oronzo’s frequent collaborator infused the contemporary expression of warmth and awe in spacious areas surrounded by a tranquil neutral palette of warm beige, soft taupe, and creamy whites. Further enriching this luxury atmosphere are high-shine burled wood accents and sumptuous textiles.

With an inviting setup, the grand living room is defined by a beautifully cantilevered custom bar cabinet. Mostly the illuminated counter serves as a dramatic base for an arrangement of beautiful Baccarat crystal, exuding an old-world sophistication. In addition to other notable comforts, the Hermès throws and custom Italian furniture heighten the glamour quotient, making sure that every guest walks away with an experience that wraps them in luxury.

A Museum Worthy Collection of Art

At the heart of the Snow Lodge Suite is art: it is this that elevates the space beyond a hotel suite into a cultural experience. In collaboration with Aktion Art and Wynn Fine Art, the collection comprises major works from artists including Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alex Katz, Josef Albers, Ansel Adams, and Dustin Yellin.

A centerpiece in the dining area, one of the most strident and confrontational works of art-a Basquiat-aggressively interrupts any status quo atmosphere with splotchy brushwork energetic and often dissonant. In contrast, the bedroom presents a peaceful aesthetic, with a painting by Theo Pinto fitting in with the calm mood. The historical drawings by Wes Aderhold hanging on the wall and a set of minimalist Folkform Sweden desk lamps fit seamlessly into the suite’s design narrative while further refining it.

Restaurateurs and Wellness

Luxury at the Snow Lodge Suite means more than just a visual treat; it is embedded in the daily life of its occupants. This suite is equipped with a kitchen that gives guests time to prepare gourmet meals as per their whims. Ample space is furnished for ski equipment and winter clothing, thus complementing its further practicality.

Equally kept in view is the wellness experience. Dria, a brand devoted to a holistic approach to self-care, has selected an assortment of carefully chosen wellness products for their guests’ benefit. Whether guests soak their tired muscles in warm water after a day on the slopes or enjoy a hot toddy by the fire, every detail of the guests’ comfort has been taken into consideration.

An Après-Ski Dream

While the Snow Lodge Suite offers privacy, the larger Snow Lodge experience ensures guests are never more than a moment away from an evening filled with entertainment and world-class dining. With a culinary experience led by executive chef Preston Hix, the property’s supper club provides a seamless blend of luxury and innovation for dining. If you desire a far more exclusive experience, the Jade Room, a plush bar for cocktails and caviar, is the perfect setting for a more intimate gathering.

This much in view, no visit to the Snow Lodge would be complete without an experience of its famed après-ski scene. The outdoor music series, which has hosted the likes of Diplo, draws the buzz of the slopes straight into the resort, making it a lively social center.
