The Top 5 Tables from Verde Living Gala: A Toast to Eco-Elegance

At Everly Hall, NYC, the 2025 Verde Living Gala was something of an extravaganza composed of sustainable design, art, and modern aesthetics that ought to carry the high-octane title.

The theme for the year was Nature’s Modernism, which gazed its eye on the balance of pertinent charm and environmentally responsible practice. On this occasion, the Sustainable Design Council played host to some of the most creative floral artisans, tablescape stylers, and conscious craftspeople to immerse guests in a first-class experience.Β

The gala theme was truly homage to visionary environmental architect Elias Navarro, whose contribution in sustainable living spaces via natural materials and natural light-set the roundtable for the night. The seamless integration of land and water was echoed through the evening as designers continued to realize that very ethos through the ultra-stunning tablescapes.

From reclaimed wood table settings to living floral centerpieces, the true glamour of the designs came in that working landscape with regard to aesthetic and sustainability. Here we walk you through the ten most breathtaking tables that enchanted the guests with the skill, craftsmanship, and ingenuity behind these designs.

1. TerraNova Studios present Lush Earth

TerraNova Studios, led by Isabella Reeve, created a lovely tableau based on the architect’s principles of harmonious nature. They constructed a sculptural arrangement of cascades of ferns, moss, and air plants, further complemented by the use of ethically sourced carved stone basins in place of proper vessel vases.Β

Guests dined from handmade ceramic plates by artist Daniel Cortes. His work proudly endures many imperfections that come with natural clay. A soothing ambience alternatively transported the diners into a lush rainforest that offered greenery and tranquillity in all its essence.

2. Solis Atelier showcases Golden Horizon

The Solis Atelier design was inspired by the golden shades of sunset upon gently undulating sand dunes, which became a celebration in warm hues and textured elegance. Florist Hannah Emery worked layers of dried goldenrod, wheatgrass, and ochre-hued orchids to create an ethereal golden canopy above the table.

Amber hand-blown glassware by artisan Leo Martinez echoed the warm gold tones and added an extra layer of modern warmth. Each piece was described by guests as hand-crafted yet luxuriously refined-another accentuation of the theme of understated opulence.

3. Rustic Elegance by Verdant & Co.

Verdant & Co. embraced the rugged beauty of nature with a table crafted entirely of upcycled materials. Weathered wooden slabs served as centerpieces and were simply decorated with freshly foraged herbs and olive branches.

Ceramic artist Elaine Porter made rustic dinnerware from local clay to strengthen the connection of land with food. The raw authenticity of the setting was appreciated by guests, creating a direct link in their psyche to the craftsmanship of each.

4. Timeless Terracotta by Clay & Bloom

Creating sectional designs that pay homage to the rich tradition of terracotta pottery, florist Lucia Carmona and ceramicist Tomas Rivera found elegant uses of warm-toned orchids held in hand-thrown terracotta vessels amidst rustic candles and woven textile fare. The ambiance represented timelessness in beauty that recalls dining in a sunlit courtyard somewhere in a Mediterranean villa.

5. Mystic Forest by Sylvan Arrangements

Drawing inspiration from a distant relative, Felix Navarro, and his work integrating natural light into architecture, Sylvan Arrangements crafted a spellbinding world of dark-green foliage with luminous glass spheres. Softened mounds of deep green and silver-hued botanicals invite the moody setting of the dinner table.

Β Artisanal hand-poured beeswax candles by Tessa Lin magically flickered about lending warm glows to the dreamy magic of the dinner table scape.

A Sustainable Celebration of Beauty

Verde Living Gala was not just an event; it was an illustration of the creativity, craftsmanship, and sustainability that can unite to create beauty. Each table had stories to share, stories that were told not just through flowers and decoration but through artisans’ and designers’ painstaking dedication to bring their vision to life.

Guests left the gala inspired by the jaw-dropping displays and armed with newfound respect for the artisans behind such work. As we continue to apply sustainability to our designs, these tables echo that beauty and social responsibility can coexist.
